Cardrona Village Hall Newsletter July 2005

Cardrona Village Hall - The Centre of a New Community.

Cardrona Village is the first new village to be built in the Scottish Borders in over 200 years. It is located in an idyllic location on a bend in the Tweed River, nestling below the Moorfoot Hills.

The centre of this new community is the village hall. Built by the developer of the village, Mr Tom Renwick, it is therefore brand-new and offers modern, high quality facilities unrivalled by other older village halls in the area.

The village hall is available for meetings, lectures, classes, clubs, children’s events and evening social events. Both resident’s from Cardrona and those from neighbouring areas are welcome to hire the facility.

The Cardrona Village Hall Committee are committed to making available these high quality facilities at an affordable cost in order to encourage the greatest possible use of the hall. Whether it is a children’s party, a toddlers group, keep-fit class, dance class, coffee morning or Rotary Club meeting, any event offers the opportunity for various village residents to meet and to spend time together.

For a current programme of events and contact details, please click on the link to our newsletter at the top of this page. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this document.
