The Scottish Borders ONLY AC/DC Tribute Band

Top AC/DC tribute band Aye Been/CD were formed as a side project through a love of all things AC/DC in 2003 by singer Dave 'Bon' Thomas, guitarist's Mike 'Angus' Harkin and Ian 'Malcolm' Millar, bassist Derek 'Mark' Paterson and drummer Kevin 'Phil' Scott. Dave, Mike and Kevin are members of top Borders band SHTUMM, Ian is from Borders blues meisters Blind Hope and Derek from Edinburgh band Wishful Thinking, and all have been AC/DC fans since their early teens - they are all now in their forties!!!

With a debut at the Denholm Rock Festival in 2003 followed by gigs at Hawick's Red Room's and Stampers Bar, Derek then left the band due to family commitments, with no bass player things looked bleak for Aye Been until good friend and fellow AC/DC fan Colin 'Cliff' Blackie, who is lead guitarist in Ian's band Blind Hope, offered to step in on bass, which he has done rather nicely and the boys are now active again.

Ayebeen/CD play music from, in their opinion, the best years of AC/DC - the 'Bon' years, a powerful set derived from AC/DC's earliest recorded output, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Let There Be Rock, Highway To Hell and the jewel in the crown Powerage.

With over 130 years gigging experience between the members of Ayebeen/CD they are sure to shake your foundations with a very professional performance, whether a pub, club or larger venue, check out our website and please get in touch for a speedy reply.
