Marygate was one of the finest High Streets in England,
and many of the houses seen here date from the rebuilding of 1754.

Fishing cobbles on the banks of the River Tweed. Started in 1611 the bridge was completed in 1634.
The sixth pier with the heightened parapet formerly marked the boundary between Berwick and North Durham.
Tweedmouth lies to the South of the bridge. Date unknown.
