Merging two different photos

The example above was from a lady who did not have a photo of her Mother and Father on the same photo, she gave me a portrait of her Mother and a group photo of her Father, when he was in the Navy and asked me if I could merge them together on the same photo, this was done to great effect (left), considering I started off with two different photo's, each a diferent size, I also printed her the same photo in watercolour style on genuine artists canvas. Before
After

I took the original photo of the jet (left) at Kielder Dam, cropped it, added a crosshair effect, fisheye lens effect, and some text, to make the much more exciting photo on the right.

Here is the same jet again, I just managed to catch it as it flew over at a very low level, about 600+ M.P.H. so I didn't do too bad. Once it is transferred to the computer, and with special software, you can improve on things, I added a sun, and gave the sky a bit colour, and have now got a much better, interesting picture.

Cove Harbour

Photo's like this panoramic APS shot of Cove Harbour in East Lothian can be printed on to very large 16.5" x 6" paper, which makes a very impressive framed print. Also when I took this photo it was quite a dull cold day, but I added a digital sun to the horizon and it warmed things up a bit.

Before
After

This young man has a photo growing out of his shoulder, is slightly under exposed and the person who took the photo was standing a little too far away, but with careful cloning, level adjustment and cropping you get a much more pleasing photo.
