not let the name Ettrick Graphics fool
you, we are not some fancy graphic design company that
charge the earth for their services. We can, however,
offer many of the services that they offer, but at a fraction
of the cost, plus none of the jargon that some design
companies use, helping you understand what can be achieved
at the drawing board and in the printing room. We can
make it possible to get your ideas on paper at cheaper
prices in the shortest possible time with the minimum
of fuss.
Located
in HAWICK in the Scottish Borders,
Ettrick Graphics are a leader in desk
top publishing, digital imaging, basic web design and
computer repairs.
I
started Ettrick Graphics in January 1998
after I was made redundant from a local knitwear firm.
I decided to put my computer skills (dating back to the
Sinclair ZX 81 in the early 80's) to good use by providing
good quality business\personal printing, basic web design,
digital imaging and HONEST computer repairs
at substantially lower prices than bigger companies.
In
January of 1999, I started this Ettrick Graphics
website, and from the early two page website that was
the first version, it has now grown to over 200 pages,
500 visitors a week (over 100,000 total!!)
and still growing.
In
March 1999, I added the Old
Scottish Borders Photo Archive (OSBPA)
to the website, it has proved very popular with
exiled Borderers and genealogists researching their Border
ancestors.
