Ferniehurst Castle

This is Ferniehurst Castle, near Jedburgh, just of the main A68 Edinburgh to Newcastle road. Date unknown.

Hartrigge

Built by David Bryce in 1854 in the Scottish Baronial style apart from its stables,
this was one of Bryce's most powerful compositions, with additions,
1938 and alterations by Reginald Fairlie.............Demolished presumably in the 1950's.....
