The 12th century Cistercian Abbey of Melrose, looking towards the great east window.
The Abbey Hotel and the Custodian's House have been removed, and stood on the site of the Abbey narthex. Date unknown.

Melrose Parish Church, built in 1810 by Messrs Smith of Darnick, who rebuilt the Mercat Cross.
The tower survived the fire of 1908. Date unknown.

Goats outside the Station Hotel, Market Square, Melrose. The Mercat Cross bears the date 1645 and was re-set here in 1842. 1905.
